Drifting lines

Drifting Lines uses ideas related to the dérive as a working method. Wandering becomes a way of drawing and marking space.

The works start with line drawings and are later developed through printmaking using hard ground and sugar lift. The focus is on breaking automatic movement through wandering, chance and small interruptions. The line records pauses, changes of direction and shifts in rhythm.
